About the founder
Jenna Spray has spent her career doing the thing enbee is built to do: taking dense, technical expertise and making it impossible to look away from. At Cushman & Wakefield, she built Built Weekly from nothing — growing it to 430,000 subscribers and five million reads with zero paid acquisition, ghostwriting for named executives at scale, and developing AI-integrated editorial workflows that were presented to leadership. In 2025, she was recognized as a firmwide Top Performer — one of 100 selected from 53,000 employees — in a full-page Wall Street Journal ad.
The academic foundation runs deeper than most. Her Master's at IED Milan focused specifically on verbal identity — not general brand strategy, but the discipline of how organizations and individuals build meaning through language. She was the only native English speaker in a 23-person cohort from 14 countries, which is where she learned firsthand what gets lost when expertise meets a language barrier, and what becomes possible when it doesn't.
She has trained AI systems on tone of voice as a subject matter expert for Handshake AI, and holds a B.S. in Journalism from Northwestern's Medill School, where she graduated in three years. She is certified at professional proficiency in Italian (CILS B2, University of Siena) and has worked extensively with professionals whose first language isn't English — leaders whose thinking is sharp and their command of English strong, but whose natural register doesn't quite translate into the authoritative public voice they deserve. That gap between how someone thinks and how they're perceived in English is one enbee is specifically built to close.
